Mr. Joyner will chair 2 panel discussions at the upcoming conference. Plans for the discussions include one panel of venture and corporate dealmakers discussing investment trends in the communications sector, and another panel will have investors and entrepreneurs discussing entrepreneurial business models and monetizing intellectual property (IP) based businesses. The IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) is the annual flagship conference of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), and the premier telecommunications event for industry professionals, academics, companies and government agencies from around the world. The conference’s global reach draws experts from around the world to highlight the technology trends and research in the communications field. The panels chaired by Mr. Joyner will include active institutional and corporate investors and business leaders that will give their viewpoints on these topics to the audience.
